Communication Days 2026

Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives - Rovinj, Croatia · 2026

A Woman.Comm panel on the barriers women face in leadership, visibility, and being heard.

At Communication Days 2026, the Woman.Comm panel Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives brought women leaders together at Hotel Lone in Rovinj to discuss power, visibility, and the politics of being heard.

Katja Fašink (CEO, key7 Communications & Cyber Security, and the first female WBF-certified boxing manager) joined Brankica Janković (Group Founder and Director, Aquarius Group) and Nataša Pavlović Bujas (Managing Director, Blumen Group). The discussion was moderated by Irena Knežević (Corporate Communications Manager, Hemofarm).

The conversation examined barriers that rarely look dramatic: polite interruptions, shifting standards, authority questioned for longer, and the expectation that women package their stories in ways others find comfortable. The speakers explored what it takes to move forward when experience and expertise are still heard differently depending on whose voice carries them.

Held on Saturday, 9 May 2026 at 15:40, the panel invited a candid discussion about leadership, visibility, and the work of changing the room rather than waiting for permission to be heard.
