I am Katja Fašink, an internationally awarded global crisis communication leader and strategist specializing in high stakes communication, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, reputation, and public trust.

I am the CEO of Key7 Communications & Cyber Security (and Gmedia), where I lead an international team of specialists supporting organizations and leaders through complex crises, cyber incidents, security challenges, and reputational threats.

Previously, I served as Chief Communications Officer of ELES and ELES Group, Slovenia's national electricity transmission system operator. Working within critical infrastructure taught me that communication is not simply about managing information, it can directly influence resilience, trust, and the outcome of a crisis.

I am a Forbes Communications Council Crisis Communication Member Leader and Chair of the PRCA Southeast Europe Network for Slovenia. My work has received more than a dozen international professional distinctions for crisis communication, corporate affairs, powerful voice in communication, and futuristic leadership, including recognition from the World Communications Forum Association (WCFA) Davos, PRO-PR, CHARGE, and the Energy Awards.

I am also a keynote speaker, international lecturer, and author of the Rubber Bullet science theory, combining strategic communication, crisis psychology, resilience, and reputation protection.

Through Risk and Reputation, an executive leadership programme for the age of AI, crisis and uncertainty, I deliver keynotes, masterclasses and workshops for boards, executive teams, government institutions and critical infrastructure operators.
