Participating at the PRO PR Conference Montenegro 2026 was an opportunity to contribute to one of the leading regional gatherings dedicated to public relations, strategic communications, and the future of our profession.

As a speaker at the conference, I presented my perspective on "Uncensored Crisis Communication", focusing on the challenges organizations face in an environment where crises develop faster, reputational risks increase, and trust can be affected within moments.

Throughout my career, I have worked in environments where communication is closely connected with responsibility, security, and decision-making. My experience in critical infrastructure, energy, corporate communications, and crisis management has reinforced my belief that successful crisis communication is not only about responding when a crisis occurs - it is about preparation, understanding risks, and building trust before challenges emerge.

The theme of the conference, "Leadership in Communication," reflects a principle I strongly believe in: communication professionals are not only responsible for delivering information, but also for helping organizations navigate uncertainty, make responsible decisions, and maintain confidence among their stakeholders.

During the PRO PR Conference, I also had the honour of participating in the PRO PR Globe People Achievement Awards ceremony, where, together with my colleague Miodrag Strugar, I presented awards to outstanding communication professionals from the region and beyond. Recognizing the achievements of colleagues who contribute to the development of our profession was a privilege and a reminder of the importance of knowledge sharing and professional excellence.

PRO PR represents an important platform for connecting communication leaders, exchanging experiences, and discussing the challenges shaping the future of our industry.

I believe that the future of communications belongs to professionals who combine strategic thinking, ethical responsibility, and the ability to bring clarity, credibility, and trust when organizations and societies need it most.
